Control Solution

Testing

•Do not use the control solution if the expiration date has

passed. Check the expiration date printed on the control

solution bottle.

•Whenyouopenacontrolsolutionbottleforthefirsttime,

count forward 90 days and write this date on the control

solution bottle using a pen that won’t smear or wipe off.

Throw away any remaining solution after this date.

• The results obtained from control testing do not reflect

your personal blood glucose or blood ketone levels in any

way.

• Do not swallow the control solution.

• Do not inject the control solution or use the control

solution as eye drops.

• Precision Xtra Blood Glucose or Blood β-Ketone Test Strip

Getting Started

Wash your hands using warm soapy

water and dry them completely.

Remove the test strip from its foil packet.
